Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information VertTracker collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

1. Information We Collect

Account info: name, email, password (hashed), height, and country you provide at signup.

Training data: recorded vertical jump measurements, session history, and the jump videos you submit for analysis — both private saves and leaderboard uploads are stored on our servers.

AI feature usage: messages you send to the AI Coach and the inputs used to generate training programs.

Friends & messages: an optional profile picture you upload, the friend connections you create, any caption you attach to a shared jump, and the direct messages you exchange with friends.

Payment info: if you subscribe to Pro, billing is handled entirely by Stripe — we don't see or store your card details.

2. Third-Party Services

We use the following processors to run the Service, each of which handles a portion of your data:

  • Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
  • Google (Gemini API) — processes messages sent to the AI Coach and program generator in order to generate responses.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
  • Cloudflare R2 — storage for jump videos (private saves and leaderboard uploads) and profile pictures.
  • Resend — delivery of account and billing emails.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the Service (tracking your progress, generating personalized coaching and programs, running the leaderboard), to process payments, to send account-related emails (confirmation, billing, trial reminders), and to maintain and improve the app.

Video review: jump videos you submit — including private (non-leaderboard) ones — may be viewed by VertTracker administrators for moderation, anti-cheat, and measurement-quality purposes. A video is visible to other users only when you choose to share it: posting it to the leaderboard makes it public, and sharing a jump with your friends makes that video viewable by the friends you've added. Jumps you keep private are never shown to other users.

Friends & messages: your profile picture and name are shown to friends you've added and, if you post to the leaderboard, next to that entry. Direct messages are visible to you and the friend you're messaging; we may access message content only where necessary for safety, to investigate abuse reports, or as required by law.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Private jump videos are automatically deleted from our servers after 5 days (90 days for Pro subscribers) — only the measurement itself is kept for your history. Leaderboard videos remain stored while the entry is live, since they serve as public proof, and videos you share with friends remain stored while that jump stays shared. Your profile picture is kept until you change or remove it, and direct messages are kept until you or the recipient deletes them, or the account is deleted. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile page, or by contacting us at (786) 217-3542.

5. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
