Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has given you permission to use the Service and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. The Service

VertTracker lets you record and track vertical jump performance, generate AI-assisted training programs and coaching guidance, and optionally submit video-verified results to a public leaderboard. Some features require a paid subscription ("Pro").

3. Assumption of Risk — Physical Training

Vertical jump training, plyometrics, and strength training carry an inherent risk of injury, including but not limited to muscle strains, joint injuries, and falls. You should consult a physician before beginning any new training program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition.

By using the Service, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical training performed as a result of using the Service, and you agree that VertTracker and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of any workout, program, or coaching guidance provided through the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

Training programs and coaching responses are generated by an AI model and are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed physician, physical therapist, or certified strength and conditioning coach. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate for your specific situation — use your own judgment.

5. Accounts & Subscriptions

You're responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and the security of your password. Paid subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually, as selected) until canceled, and are billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your profile; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of any video or data you submit. By submitting a video for leaderboard verification, you grant VertTracker a license to store and display it in connection with the leaderboard feature. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Don't misuse the Service: no submitting falsified leaderboard results, no abusing or attempting to circumvent usage limits, no uploading harmful or infringing content, and no using the Service for anything unlawful.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VertTracker and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated training content.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
